Frequently Asked Questions

About the Class

If I have an emergency, is there a refund policy?

We understand that emergencies can arise. While our standard refund policy is outlined in our terms and conditions, we also recognize that life can be unpredictable. If you encounter an emergency during the course, please reach out to our support team at team@clarity4action.org, and we will do our best to work with you on a case-by-case basis to find a suitable solution.

What should my student bring to class?

Everyone has unique dietary needs. Students should bring their own lunch to ensure they are well fed. We can’t guarantee the ability to refrigerate lunches at SPEEA Hall so plan accordingly. If your student has favorite writing utensils or a notebook that makes them feel more comfortable and engaged, they are welcome to bring them but it is not necessary.

What is provided during the class?

We will provide workbooks, pens and pencils, and other classroom supplies. Boeing Leadership Network & Ed Wells Partnership will be providing snacks and drinks for us to enjoy.

Can parents attend?

We’ll be offering a 45-minute overview and Q&A for parents over Zoom. On March 16th, our hope is to create a space where we can focus fully on student learning, creativity, and fun.

Reach out to amy@clarity4action.org with questions about attending class with your child.

What is the age range of the class?

This class is for teens, but maturity levels vary. You know your child best, so please consider if they’re ready for an all-day class focused on life planning. Our goal is to ensure a positive and impactful experience for all.

What will my teen learn in the class?

We focus on teaching students HOW to make decisions that align with their identity, values, and goals, rather than dictating what those decisions should be. The class involves active learning to equip students with a repeatable decision framework and tools they can apply to any decision.
